The EU Youth Conference has concluded today in Rome (Italy), bringing together young representatives and policy-makers from all over Europe.
Around 180 delegates – young people and policy makers – from all 28 EU Member States reflected on key #youth issues and developed specific policy recommendations. These recommendations included the establishment of an independent ombudsperson for youth rights, citizenship education for young people, as well as state support for NGOs working on youth issues.
